With the launch of our public awareness campaign last month, we have opened a fantastic channel in which to get the word out about our research.
Utilising the campaign launch we have been able to get tremendous media interest and coverage. We have also launched a valuable social media component to our campaign. Our social media push has been strong, with approximately 300 followers across the board. We intend in the coming months to focus on increasing the amount of followers across the various social media sites.
In relation to the progress of our research, we are now in the process of obtaining ethics committee approval. Read about this more below.
Over the last month, we have had a great deal media coverage across Australia. A complete list of articles, interviews and stories can be found here
With primary scholarly research completed over the past year, we are currently focusing on finalising our ethics committee application for our intended survey and targeted interviews. This will ensure that we have met all requirements set by the Human Research Ethics standards. Once our application is completed, submitted and successful we will be able to continue with our research and intend to release our survey and begin targeted interviews.
